London Landmark Half Marathon

Run for Change at the London Landmarks Half Marathon

Are you the next Livewell Legend?

The London Landmarks Half Marathon isn’t just another race—it’s a celebration of community, resilience, and the power to create real change. When you run with us, you’ll be raising vital funds to help people across Plymouth, South Hams and West Devon live healthier, happier lives.

The Livewell Foundation supports life-changing community projects, improves local health and wellbeing, and helps tackle social isolation—all by funding initiatives that go beyond the reach of the NHS.

What is the London Landmarks Half Marathon?

Taking place in the heart of the capital, the London Landmarks Half Marathon is a closed-road, 13.1-mile route through London’s most iconic sights—with cheer stations, performers, and music to keep you going every step of the way. It’s designed to be uplifting, inclusive, and unforgettable.

  • Date: Sunday 12th April
  • Route highlights: Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, Tower of London, London Eye—and more!
  • Atmosphere: Family-friendly, packed with entertainment, and an unbeatable buzz
"The entertainment was great, especially the music. The best bit was reaching the 12-mile marker and running through to the finish line where my daughter was waiting to give me a high five.”

Who can run?

Whether you're an experienced runner or a complete beginner, this event is for you. Many of our previous runners had never completed a half marathon before—some started with Couch to 5K and surprised themselves with what they could achieve.

You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team that understands what it means to take that first brave step.

Lydia’s Story: One Step at a Time

“It took me 5 years after having a baby to get back to doing something for myself. Committing to this was a really big step towards reclaiming my own priorities. I hope this has shown my daughter—and others—that mums can have their own goals and achievements.

After 2.5 years without running, Lydia trained from scratch using the Couch to 5K programme and built up to the half marathon over 6 months. As a Livewell Southwest occupational therapist, she’s seen first-hand the positive impact of the Foundation’s work on the ground.

“Health interventions are broader than the medical model. A big part of my role is connecting people with community projects—many of which are made possible by the Foundation.”
