Local business organises quiz night raising £1,400 for The Livewell Foundation

A charity quiz night organised and hosted by Agile Comms has raised an impressive £1,400 for The Livewell Foundation, helping the charity continue its mission of supporting projects that improve health and wellbeing across Plymouth and South West Devon.

The lively evening brought together teams from across the local community, with fun and challenging rounds including a Lego building competition that proved to be a crowd favourite. Special congratulations went to the winning team from Fuel, who walked away with the quiz crown.

Ollie from Agile Comms, who spearheaded the event, was praised for his energy and enthusiasm in bringing people together to support the cause.

Chris Davies, Chair of The Livewell Foundation, said:
"We are so grateful to Agile Comms and everyone who came along for their generosity and community spirit. The funds raised will make a real difference in helping us continue to support grassroots projects that reduce isolation, improve health, and promote wellbeing across the region."

The Livewell Foundation funds a wide range of community-driven initiatives, from mental health support groups to projects tackling loneliness and promoting physical activity.

The charity is encouraging other local businesses and individuals to get involved in their own fundraising – whether by arranging a fun community event or by taking part in an existing opportunity such as the London Landmarks Half Marathon in April 2026.

"When you raise money for The Livewell Foundation, you're helping fund local projects from food banks to counselling, community sport to befriending. Your donations help those living with dementia, people experiencing mental health crisis, victims of abuse, those living with chronic pain and more. Every pound raised really does make a lasting difference in our community."
